Check out what’s going on at Literacy Lubbock!

At Tiny Tots storytime, children have a story read to them and then are given a free copy of that book to take home with them! Studies have shown that larger home libraries lead to a stronger desire to read–and a stronger desire to read leads to better academic performances.

Godeke and Wolfforth Libraries meet on Wednesdays at 12:30PM.

The Dream Center and the Guadalupe Early Learning Center meet on Wednesdays at 10:00AM.

Groves Library meets on Fridays at 10:30AM.

Please note, the Guadalupe Early Learning Center is only for students registered with that program.  All other sessions are free to the public!

JULY 30TH - 31ST

Open to children of all ages!

Calling all Tiny Tots Stuffed Animals!  We’ll be hosting a slumber party just for the stuffed animal friends of our Tiny Tots!

Drop your stuffed animals off on Tuesday, July 30 between 4-6 PM.  That night, they’ll have a slumber party, complete with book readings, snacks, and all sorts of activities.  The next day, during Tiny Tots storytime, you’ll come to pick up your stuffed animal and learn about all the fun they had the night before.  We’ll even have pictures!

Want some more information?  Call Gwen at 806-775-3636 or shoot her an email at

We hope to see your animal friends at our sleepover!
